I have like 3,000 USB cables, if you want to spring a couple bucks for shipping, I'll send you one.

Too late. I just went out and bought one. That cheap azz $32 printer just got the mark up with the $13 cable. I can't believe I had to pay $50 for this piece of .

Perhaps they could start selling the power cable separately too. That would be another $20 they can screw you out of. :frustrated:

When was the last time you bought a printer? No USB cable has been standard for years. (shrug)

That's what I thought. I'm surprised to buy any peripheral that comes with one these days.

We're lucky to get the power cord.

Pretty soon, even the printer won't come with the printer.

Or that they put one of those mini-versions in it, which prints 25 pages and then dies and needs replacing.

The ink cartridge is 1/4 full..... The good news is places like Printwells{Canada} will re fill them 100% for $15 tax included... They can take 20 ml usually{HP}. But there only 1/4 full when they leave the factory... Let the "there F'ing theives, etc" begin... lol

He should be placed in the same corner of hell as the guy who decided on the cellophane wrap for CDs.

And that stupid sticker on top of the jewel case that takes forever to peel off, even when you pull at the "Pull Here" point! :frustrated:

Yeah, I bought a CD a few days ago and time seemed "Endless" trying to get that top peel off sticker off..Uhh! :pullhair:

As to the USB cable, I always check to make sure it comes with one and I usually ask if not mentioned.

Actually, Dice I hope you did not by a Canon because some models have chips in the ink cartiages and you then need to replace all the cartiages when one runs out. I have been looking for a cheap scanner and have been reading some reviews about printers and scanners in general. Canon is famous for selling cheap printers because to replace the ink is where the profits are for them.

Pro Tip: After you remove the cellophane (by scoring it with scissors along an edge of the jewel case), lift up the bottom hinge and flip the cover upward. The sticker can then be peeled off quite easily.

Too late! Its iTunes for me nowadays. And the recording industry wonders why CD sales are down every year... (thumbs u
