Very cool cover. It looks like there's a surge in Mag sales now that CGC has started magazine certification.

 

Just how many horror covers come to mind (villian/monster holding the distressed woman)? Immediately I think of Tomb of Dracula #1...any others?

You remind me of my 1-(the end) Creepy collection.

 

I sold it in the mid 90s for $1 a book... frown.gif

 

Most 50-up were 9.2-9.8s and bought off the rack by me!

15-50 8.5-9.4s

4-15 7.0-8.5s

1-3 were kinda rough VGFs

 

I wanted to clear space to start collecting comics again... tonofbricks.gif

the hidden cover gems of the magazine world are skywalds. My god some of those are incredible! I think the warren frazetta covers are going to gain much clout, a cover like creepy #76 is unforgettable and so damn hard to find, the adams marvel covers are pretty nice, there are probably 50-60 magazine covers that deserve classic status. It will be fun to watch it unfold!

the #76 has the green background with death riding his horse and a headless woman in his arms. its brutal & effective. I have seen less copies of that than any other issue of creepy for sale excpet for maybe #29 & 32. Its supernaturally hard to find for what it is! #78 is overly hard too, but not as bad.

Silly me for thinking he had laid them out in order. Do you have a better pic for the #76 cover? I'm curious to see what it looks like close up.
