New York World's Fair Comics April 1939 Sandman in text only

Actually, the Sandman story in NYWF 1939 is a complete, fully illustrated story.

I don't have a copy of this book & Overstreet notes Adventure Comics #40 as the first drawn story. So if you've got pictures, feel free to show them

Overstreet notes first drawn story as it was intended to be the first story published, but the World's Fair comic was released to coincide with the opening of the Fair and thus beat Adventure #40 to the stands by a few weeks.

Guess it's as poorly worded in the guide as the notes on Double Action #2.

Both the NYWF 1939 and Adventure #40 Sandman stories are reprinted in the Sandman Archives Vol.1 and the NYWF story is fully illustrated. Anyway, I wasn't arguing over which comic has the true 1st appearance of Sandman, only that the NYWF story is more than just text. The Overstreet guide is a little ambiguous on this one and I was just being nitpicky.
