It was a weird week for auctions. I assume the 1st full week of good weather.

Meaning that people are out more and are paying less attention to auctions?

That's my theory.

Auctions have been hella low.....moving like pregnant snails with broken knees.

My suggestion: BIN w/BO FTW. Don't sell your souls on Ebay for pennies on the dollar. F the cheapy buyers that want to hit you with 300% below FMV. They can go find another sucker to plunder IMHO.

whos to say what "FMV" is as things are always changing.

Or maybe, Chew is finally in its death throes.

I didn't really think it was anything special, and I know I'm not alone.

First 10 or so were ok, but then fruits and chickens and space and... :blahblah:

TBP: It's a point well taken, but when folks start selling for markedly lower than the prior sales that will surely affect FMV and create a downwards trend. I guess my point earlier should have been: the collective sales determine FMV. So if you're willing to drop your pants and let someone shove their fist into your small intestine for a few sheckles, then the rest of the folks are due for a prostate exam as well. Facepalms notwithstanding.

As a relative noob, getting back into comics after a 20 year hiatus, Chew was the first comic I added to my pull list. After reading reviews, I devoured (no pun intended) the first 30 issues in a matter of one weekend. Rob's art really drew me in and Jon's storytelling kept me a loyal fan. Speculation and value aside, in my opinion, Chew is the most original book hitting stands today. I never know what to expect when I pick up a new issue which is rare for today where the market is overrun by the same rehashed storylines that most cape books deliver.

My love for the book even lead me to hunt down my first piece of Original Art.

Big thanks to BeerThirty for the hook up.

The depth of your ineptitude is mind numbing.

No worries. Beige is only here to cause trouble. He knocks it because he doesn't have 100 graded copies. Ask him about Bedlam. I'm sure he loves it. ;)
