I've dropped alot of Moderns lately. Here's what I'm reading now...

 

Jonah Hex

Hellboy & B.P.R.D. (But I miss Mignola's interior art...)

Jack of Fables

Fables

Locke & Key

Echo

Rasl

Ultimate Spider-Man (We get to start with a new number one soon. Hurrah.)

Daredevil (I'll probably drop this when Brubaker is done)

Madame Xanadu (Not bad, actually!)

Star Wars: Legacy

 

And for my kids: Batman Brave & The Bold and Scooby Doo.

 

Boy, do I miss Fell. Whatever happened to that comic?

Hey Comixcroz, I guess Air got good after a few issues? I gotta admit, I'm a big Vertigo nut, but that first issue I found to be rather flat and uninteresting. :P

Hey Comixcroz, I guess Air got good after a few issues? I gotta admit, I'm a big Vertigo nut, but that first issue I found to be rather flat and uninteresting. :P

I came into it late. I bought issue #7 because it was only $1 and I had kept hearing good things about it. #7 was in no way what they advertised it to be, they said it would be a good jumping on point. But, it did get me wondering WTF was going on. I bought the first 6 issues and read them all together and so far it's been great.

 

I've been reading comics for so long that when something so different from the normal comes out I usually really like it. I don't really remember liking the first issue or not but 1-9 has been great so far.

 

I really want to check out Goon. I think the only problem I see is the "comes out once in a blue moon" thing. I mean come on - it celebrated a 10 year anniversary with 30 issues. The other thing is I like to collect my comics in the monthly format and I am not willing to shell out the cash it takes to do that at this point. Although,The best stuff usually takes the longest to come out though. So maybe a TPB purchase is in order. hm

not easy when you live in Belgium. I have no other option then to order via a dealer in the US. Shops in Belgium ask something like the cover price plus 25% on top of that (postage, tax, import, etc)...So I buy at a US Dealer, advance order, with a 10% to 25% discount on cover price.
