Stan Lee Meet-And-Greet Event Announced For San Diego Comic-Con

Meet legendary comic book creator Stan Lee at a special Meet-and-Greet event held in his honor during the weekend of the San Diego Comic-Con taking place July 22 - 26, 2009.

 

 

Desert Wind Comics and Crazy Cat Collectibles, in cooperation with CGC and ComicsPriceGuide.com, have arranged for fans to meet and spend time with legendary creator Stan Lee. Complete details will be announced shortly and advanced tickets will be offered exclusively through Desert Wind Comics starting June 29.

 

Stan Lee is known as the creator of many of the great comic book characters including Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Avengers, Incredible Hulk and X-Men. This is a rare opportunity to meet a man that changed the comic book industry and has provided decades of reading and entertainment. In fact, this will be Stan Lee’s first public appearance at a con since last year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

 

Package details and purchase price information will be available on June 25 on Desert Wind Comic’s Web site, www.desertwindcomics.com. Ticket sales begin on June 29, again at www.desertwindcomics.com.

I suspect that if it is a private meet-and-greet event then there wouldn't be much of a line at all. There will be a limited number of tickets available (I'm guessing in the neighborhood of 100-200) and everyone will get a change to meet Stan. This is all speculation on my part, but at similar meet-and-greet events that I've been to certain tables or rows of chairs take turns meeting the guest of honor.

3. How long is the meet-and-greet going to last?

4. Is Stan going to be signing autographs? If so, how many autographs allowed per person?

Cost will be $300.00 per person. The rest of the information will be released on the 25th of June.
