where can i find a list of first appearances?

hm

Everyone assumes that the first app. from say batman is batman number one. but, in reality it is detective # 33. Is there a list somewhere that has every origin. I know that when I look though the price guide the main ones are listed. but, what about the ones that are a villian that popped up or a appearances that was only involved for 5 issues. :popcorn:

"1st appearance" and "origin" are two totally different things. You may have both in one book but it's often the 1st appearance then an origin book at a later date explaining the origin of the character.

yeah all those tec 27's are worthless. Bats doesn't actually appear till #33 :insane:
