YAY! Anyone else taking Amtrak down?

I was thinking about it. Taking it from the Fullerton station and heading down.

Nice, relaxing way to go.

Brian

Are you going down on Wednesday?

Yes, Wednesday afternoon (check in is at 3pm). What time are you heading out?

I'm looking at the Amtrak site and it shows 3 locations for SD. Do I take it to Old Town San Diego? I'm staying at the Hard Rock, a block from the convnetion site.

Old Town San Diego is at least 2 miles from the SDCC. You want to transfer and get off at a trolley stop closer to the Gaslamp area which is where the Hard Rock hotel is. :gossip:

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to drive down instead. I'm going to stop by to see some friends on the way down.

You want the last stop on the line, which is the Santa Fe Depot downtown, I believe Old Town may be before that.
