PGM Silver Surfer 1

This one has me a bit puzzled. The two small "white spots" under the board are not stains or tape pulls. The surface seems the same over them as the surrounding area. Could it be a printing defect of some kind?

 

Small color breaking crease at lower front right corner. Some color breaking creasing along the top front right edge in the red banner. Looks like where somebody's thumb was postioned while reading.

 

Bottom back edge looks discolored due to scan light refecting differently off that area that looks slightlly bent out. Seems to be where thumb was placed.

The top 1/16th of an inch is a tear, the remaining white along the black trim line is just rubbing.

I couldn't agree more, I try to use the several that I've had slabbed to be my guide but it is never easy.

6.5 FN+, corner crease and crescent creasing on the right side, in addition to small spine split keep this out of 7.0 IMO
