WATCHMEN Director's Cut (Hollis Mason death scene)

You can buy the Director's Cut with the scene included on DVD and Blu-Ray on July 21 and there's a limited theatrical run the weekend before (July 17-19) in only four venues that are located in Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and New York.

That was pretty cool, apart from the thugs who look like they walked off the set of Batman & Robin.

 

Also, one of those bad guys from his memory - a hypno-villain type - appeared to be radiating some sort of power from his hands. I could make excuses but basically that's a big faux pas as there are no supers in Watchmen apart from Doc.

 

The level of fight put up by Hollis was about right. Not as silly as Nite Owl II and Jupiter in the mugging and prision scenes, where the filmmakers seemed to think Watchmen was a superhero movie doh!
