I was wondering how this thread ended up a Gilmore Girls / Desperate Housewives / Gossip Girls discussion, then I saw page two and I suppose from there on out, it was inevitable, heh.

 

BTW, never watched Gilmore Girls, but I was usually in the room playing WoW or whatever the game of the day was while my wife watched all of the seasons back to back, there was some witty rapid fire dialog in that show.

Hey now! Gilmore Girls was a great drama and had lots of thought provoking plots!

 

I miss Rory! (She was awesome in the final few epsiodes of E.R. on NBC)

Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl is garbage! They do not even deserved to me mention in the same sentence as Gilmore Girls!

 

I agree. Gilmore Girls is a top rated show with witty face paced dialogue. It's the type of show that you have to pay attention while watching it or you miss out.

Man, this is brilliant! If you tried to write cheesy supervillain dialogue like this outside of total ironic kitsch, you'd be laughed out of the studio, but here it is, in all its cheesy glory...and he's being serious!

Actually, it was a decent line, but he totally flubbed it up. "Don't give have a damn"? WTF is that?

 

First he fails at haircuts, then he fails to deliver goods that he sold, now he fails at writing sentences. When he's 38 and a girl finally lets him touch her, how much do you wanna bet that he doesn't make it past the bra?
