ACTORS WHO FIT THE ROLE TO PLAY SUPER HEROES?

53 posts in this topic

Which actors do you think could pull of playing a super hero in a movie?

I think Robert Deniro (10 years ago) would have made for a great Nick Fury.

I'm hoping a post like this hasn't been made before - sorry if it has!

Have you seen the scripts for superhero movies? My microwave could play most parts. :insane:

:signfunny:

But very true - If Ryan Reynolds can handle multiple funny book roles, it's certainly not rocket science.

Except mebbe Aunt May and Ma Kent, lol

Ah, screw continuity - let her play the part, if it's her all hotted-up in leather!!!

Jason Statham could play every superhero ever and I would never find him boring or tiresome. :cloud9:

JC said the same exact thing. What's with that?

Almost every movie hes in is over the top action, ect. He does his own stunts, and he's really hot. I'll only assume that JC would agree with me on that. :insane:

I mean, look at him!

I thought Patrick Stewart was a perfect fit for Prof. X.

Maybe it was the old "Wizard Casting Calls," but I had envisioned him in that part long before any movies were in the works, and, when the time finally arrived, I don't think I would have been satisfied with anyone else in that role.

Thats because Patrick Stewart is amazing and awesome. Seriously.

Tobey McGuire was a good Peter Parker/Spiderman, IMO. Michael Keaton was also really good as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

I still maintain that the best actor suited to play Nick Fury is Clint Eastwood

Also going back to the Wizard Casting Call days they did a pretty solid job for Xmen on a number of characters

Micheal Biehn (Hicks from Aliens) would have made a great Cyclops

JCVD woulda made a nice Gambit

Nichole Kidman as Jean Grey

It would have been nice to see Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan as after seeing the fan-based film trailer, the choice seemed like a good one.

Hopefully, Ryan Reynolds can pull the role off.
