I had "Afternoon Delight" in my head for almost 24 hours. I had to resort to one of the "Big Three" to get it out:

 

(1) Pants on the Ground

(2) Moves Like Jagger

(3) The "Doug" song from the Hangover

 

The Big Three are effective, but you run the risk of having that song in your head even longer than the one you needed scrubbed.
