"Cat Hair" Impacts on Cover

I have a comjc that is perfect in every way except that I noticed what at first appeared to be a "cat hair" on the cover that is only shows when the book is tilted under bright light. Upon further inspection, it appears to be a non-color breaking hairline ridge that is not a tear. It does not show through to the inside of the front cover. A scan wouldn't even show it. Is this a production defect possibly. Impact on grade??

Sounds like a printer's crease, that is normally considered a printing defect and should not effect the grade.

Exactly. I have at least two Bronze Age 9.8s with printer's creases.
