SOLD!!!!

I need to get rid of some turds - Pretty turds, but still turds.

 

Turd #1...Astonishing Tales #30 9.8 White...Right edge of cover trimmed

 

Turd #2...X-Men #96 CGC 9.6 oww...Right edge of cover trimmed

 

Turd #3...Tales to Astonish #67 CGC 8.5 oww...Top edge trimmed ( I should have caught this one)

 

Asking $60 for the lot, plus shipping for these turds.

or DEATH

 

Popular expression because the purple label kills the value of the book and is a nasty surprise to many CGC submitters.

Oh, ok, thanks. I thought "PLOD" might be the sound of the falling purple label slab hitting the ground after being dropped by the stunned CGC submitter.

 

That's certainly happened to me. Although, I don't always mind the restored label. I believe there are certain books with certain covers that actually look really good in purple.
