Book 16 is a tough one.

 

The front cover looks super nice (8.0-8.5 range), but there appear to be two small pieces out of the back cover, ULC and left edge. If they are only tears and not pieces missing, that will affect the grade greatly.

 

Isolated defects like that are always tougher for me to grade than accumulated wear.

 

Plus, I wonder if back cover defects are downgraded less than they would be if they were on the front cover?

 

I said 6.0 because of the tiny pieces out, but I could easily see it as high as 7.5. Super tough!

I also thought this book would get hammered for the foxing on the bottom back cover as well as the crease on the TRFC and small tear? on the TLFC. I had it graded at a 5.0 unfortunately. :makepoint: -2 for me. I guess I'll just have to nail the rest. :acclaim:
