That Elektra picture is great! Sienkiewicz totally owned that character, as much as Miller may have created her.

 

Did you get this sketch originally? Like, at a convention? I always wondered how long it took him to do something like that.

I got it done at the San Diego comic-con a few years back.

 

Bill threw down a loose 20-second pencil sketch on it (to get the proportions in place) and then broke out his pens and brushes and just started scribbling like a 2-year-old. 15 minutes later she was there ...his hand was still shaking as he smiled and handed it back to me. Pretty amazing

That must have been great to watch!!! He's not my tip top favorite comic artist (still in the top five though), but I think his work impresses me the most.
