I loved that show in the 70's.

Family Guy version brought back alot of my fond memories.

I loved where Quagmire was telling everybody off when he thought he was getting the spin-off - "You can keep your giant chicken fights and your Conway Twitty! Giggity!"

 Do the words "brilliant" and "family guy" really belong together?

+1

Since the return it's not been as funny, hoping that is not the same for Futurama

I think it's still been pretty good. The Robot Chicken bit in the premiere was a hoot! lol

That was a great bit! Did anyone notice that Seth McFarlane is in "FlashForward"? I was surprised... or confused. Something.

I did catch that - it was strange seeing him trying to be serious - kind of like Jim Carrey. hm

It was Gleek not Gleep

Form of... super-nerd!

It was Wonder Dog who hung out with Wendy and Marvin, not Gleek...

SUPER FRIENDS jumped the shark after the Wonder Twins: Zan and Jana replaced Wedny & Marvin...

opinions vary on this.

I have collected all of the DVD discs so far and I am still waiting on the best.

I haven't seen the 73 season that that is my 2nd fav...

Superfriends 1973

or my #1 fav "The World's Greatest SuperFriends"

TWG Superfriends!

I thought the show peaked at this season with the episodes "The Planet of Oz", "The Lord of Middle Earth",

"Space Knights of Camelon" and the the best superfriends episode ever "Universe of Evil"

Anyway, as I stated previously - opinions vary.

But then again, I am a diehard of this series.

They could do a whole episode on that. Stewie as Lex Luthor and the Legion of Doom's Hall of Doom could have been shaped like Stewie's head.

If they do not have a full episode they could do a lot of funny things, this is what I would do as the character list -

Peter - Superman

Lois - Wonderwoman

Mayor Adam West - Batman - how could you not?

Brian - Robin ( as the real brains behind the duo.)

Cleveland -Black Vulcan

Joe Swanson - Apache chief

Mort and Muriel Goldman - the Wonder Twins

Neil Goldman - Gleek

Jasper - The Flash

Mickey McFinnegan - Jorel

Ernie The Giant Chicken -Hawkman

Horace - Green Lantern

Stewie - Lex Luthor

Quagmire - Toyman ( all the toys being sexual.)

Meg - Gorilla Grodd

Bonnie Swanson - Giganta

Carter Pewterschmidt - Braniac

Barbara Pewterschmidt -Riddler

Jake Tucker -The Scarecrow

Loretta Brown - Black Manta

Herbert -Bizarro

Tom Tucker - Sinestro

Ollie Williams - Captain Cold

Diane Simmons - Cheetah

Opie -Solomon Grundy
