Maybe! Maybe they will do something..hard to say..right now it's only a rumour they may not do anything at all but say "The rumours are unfounded we aren't doing anything sorry for the confusion"

I am so easily amused..

Here's what they're going to do:

1) Retcon him to fit into whatever absurd history is going on this week in the Marvel universe

2) Do a shatload of crossovers to make you buy a bunch of books you didn't want

3) Make him into a zombie because, well, zombies sell

And all this will be drawn by Rob Liefeld because they wanted to resurrect him from the dead along with MM (thumbs u

Now what do they do with the Sentry when it's pretty obvious that he's a Marvelman/Miracleman clone? Not a clone it the literal sense of course... Although that could be the angle. Right out of the gates: Marvelman: The Clone Saga! :boo:

Return of The Jackal??? Suhhh-Weet!

The orignal clone saga was a highlight of ASM #1-200 IMO. The sequel... not as much to say the least. I really think the Jackal had the potential to be a pretty big villian with staying power after reading all the early ASMs, but Marvel had other plans...

Maybe they can link The Jackal to Mr. Sinister and then it turns out that the whole Clone Saga was some sort of genetic experiment that Nathaniel Essex wanted to do to perfect Spider-Man 2099 so that he could be sent into the future where he would be able to defeat Dark Beast during the Age of Apocalypse and he meets and marries Cable's Daughter and they have a child that is sent into the past and raised by Ben and Mae Parker (who've been implanted with memories of fake parents Richard and Mary Parker) and it turns out that Richard and Mary Parker were only Red Skull machinations that the Jackal developed for him through a cloning process he was working on for Nathaniel Essex. Hold on a sec I just went cross eyed.
