From what other point of view might one determine worth? Sentimental maybe? Actually, is "purchase value" really a point of view?

The seller is asking for $100 firm. That's over with.

Some of them are neat, but all appear to be modern diecast "collectibles". If there were any retro-1960's/70's pieces, then you'd be talking.

 

$1-$2 for the smaller Hot Wheels; maybe $6-$10 for the larger, higher-quality diecast? The 4-pk. of Batmobiles seems to be the best of the lot, perhaps $20 retail, considering it would make a nice gift?

Sounds about right a little on the high side but about right. Vintage stuff sells for much more. They just really make to much of modern stuff for it to be worth a lot at this point.
