Really criminal, just when you think they can't get any more crooked...

 

But can't this guy be nabbed for creating a new piece of merchandise out of a Marvel product by adding his ridiculous modification? Surely there's some kind of law being broken here.

You mean like the guy who recently put up a Daredevil #1 8.5 CGC twice under different seller names, same exact auction, same scans, both with phoney CGC numbers? I reported the second one to eBay but the auction went smoothly to completion. My confidence in EBay is not high.

You'd hope so... He's passing off a doctored book as a "variant," the implication being it's an official marvel comic book. Sounds like fraud.
