I'm surprised Marvel hasn't sent him a cease and desist letter for using the image of Doctor Doom, although that album cover of Doom with the grillz is kinda funny

 

 

you know, i never thought about that. 'cause i've never seen anyone or band more into their comic character than doom.

I suspect no-one outside the UK has heard of Julian Cope, but his first band (The Teardrop Explodes) was taken from a line from Daredevil 77.

This immediately reminded me of when I used to read music papers in the 80's. They occasionally mentioned a band called 'The X-Men'.

 

I don't actually remember any facts about them, but Wikipedia says they are an American punk band.
