How do you have the settings on your scanner/ Photoshop set?

It looks like there was Color Dodging, or high contrast on your images;

the whites are too clean.

resolution is 1200 dpi

for image Adjusments

My brightness is 0 and my contrast is at 7. I used this same setting for all of my scans for the past 2 months.

I am a noob when it comes to scanner and it is a cheap Epson scanner.

p.s. I just played around with the setting and I think I got the brightness to a point that it matched the book more so now the brightness setting is -45 and I will keep that for all future scans. thanks for pointing it out (thumbs u
