The Hero Initiative Honors Mike Weiringo Tribute Book #1

 

Signed by 13 creators and still retained a 9.8 grade.

 

Signatures include: Weiringo (Mike's brother), Hamner, Waid, Kesel, Immonen, Giarusso, Case, Staples, Kitson, Parker, Greene, Dezago and Massengil

 

That's pretty amazing all by itself.

The next two books are very special.

 

You aren't going to find Tim Sale sketching on too many books, at least not without signing up for his paid sketches.

 

Last year at the Toronto Convention he agreed to sketch on my two copies of Captain America White #0.

 

They both came back 9.8 and this is the first time they have ever been offered for sale anywhere.

 

First up:

 

Captain AmericaL White #0

 

Signed and double sketched by Tim Sale

 

Red Skull and Bucky sketches on the cover.

And let me tell you--those 3-minute sketches aren't cheap ($150 as of October's Boston ComicCon). I'm still surprised to have received a nice little freebie Spider-Man sketch in my copy of Spider-Man: Blue because I know he was turning down a number of the little sketches for people.
