PGM It Rhymes With Lust

I was curious how much a tape pull would bring off on grade. This presents really nice but has a part on the front cover where a tag was put on then removed...probably a price sticker. Also, there is a spine tear that goes from the bottom up to near the house illustration.

Great piece of comic book history! For anyone who doesn't know, the back story for this book is described in 'The Ten Cent Plague'.

 

I think 3.5 is about right, but there's a degree of subjectivity with defects like that. Overall the eye appeal is better than the usual 3.0 IMHO.

I'll have to dissent on the eye appeal - I find a tape/sticker pull that large pretty distracting. Without it the book would be about a 3.5 due to spine tear and other wear.

 

I'd say 2.5 - maybe a 3.0
