Anyone feel like playing divide and conquer and list the artists?

Let's break this project down into parts and then let Scrooge do it all (thumbs u

Almost spewed milk onto my keyboard. lol(worship)

I would be more motivated if I thought there was a real rigor applied to which covers received the designation from Overstreet. The vast majority are great candidates for being classic covers but there are many, many better ones.

Now, NM, one would hope that Raboy gets the nod with the most Classic Covers. Interesting question hm

He's got one Master, one Captain Marvel Jr., and one Green Lama. What other titles did he do covers for?

Not a classic cover designation but I have always liked his cover to Dynamic Comics #9.

Me too

It IS an exercise in futility but I wanted to see which covers were selected ... and quite a few have already left me scratching my head. A few I am (re)discovering.

Great thread and discussion. For what it's worth, here's my updated Classic Cover list (as designated by Overstreet and/or CGC)...including dozens of updates from 2009. As expected, the vast majority are GA covers with only a handful of SA:

Detective Comics 8, 17, 31, 33, 35, 69, 371

Not to quibble, but Tec 18, rather than 17, has the classic cover.
