Count me in!

My #1 was just marked as graded yesterday and should have it back in a day or 2 from CGC.

I'll post a pic when i get it back but it got a 8.5 ow/w :headbang:

congrats on the 8.5....seems like an accurate grade based on the limited pics you shown.

Thanks!

Yeah, i was actually a little worried about a 8.0 or 7.5. I figured it was about a 9.0 without the little bit of chipping which seemingly was pretty close. I thought i had marked imaging but realized i didnt too late and by the time i called them, they already had it graded and packed for shipping.

Their other times may be slow but the walkthru service was FAST. According to USPS, my package was delivered at 10:18 am and they had it marked as graded on their site by like 4pm at the latest.

money talk with CGC speed...when you forked out big $$ with the walk thru, they will get it done asap...when I forked out economy value tier, I got the back of the line and feel free to cut in front of me if you are willing to pay more kind of service.

ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!!

My issue #1 just got graded and is on its way back now. I was really worried about its grade. Stan Lee signed it and dated it back in 1976. The book looked pretty good except for severe fading on bottom left corner of cover, as if it was in a bottom of a stack left in a window sill for decades. At Detroit Fanfare this past halloween, CGC said that they could not get a "Yellow Label" because of the old signature on the front, so I had Stan trace his 34 year old signature and submitted it anyways.

duh, forgot to finish my thought. Anyways, it came back with a yellow label, not restored or qualified. This makes me able to breath again. Cool part is, when I bought it, it was priced at a vg-. But after discussing the grade, Paul from Comic Book World said he would give it to me at G price instead, since neither of us had seen what a severe fading would do to the grade. It came back as a 3.0!! I am very happy. Now I will go back and spend a couple hundred more at his shop this month.

Sure looks that way! My "3 free" books have been sitting as "verified" for awhile now. No way they get done in "20 business days" at this point.
