I noticed that Watson was at a loss for words during that vid.... :o

I stay quite when the camera's rolling. I don't want you newbies to Southern culture overwhelmed by my accent. :shy:

I'm astounded by two Doc errors in very recent posts (was there something in the food at Mega Con?)...#1: "I stay quite..." Did you mean to say quite quiet? :makepoint:

It's the time change and spending too much time with MCMiles.

It is quite impressive when witnessed first hand.

Please, you're just as bad. Put you in a petticoat and give you some tits and there wouldn't be any Southern belle that could even hold you a light.

Crank it up! :headbang:

Enjoyable video (thumbs u

I like how you are good at giving us a raw footage view (even of endless displays of CGC books) of a walk thru of a con. I feel like its the 70's from that Smokey and the Bandit opening all the way to certain sellers still sporting neck blankets of bygone decades like myself. It even looks like you are still using the old flip video cam and getting magic out of it that I can't even get out of mine.

I'm a birdwatcher too and I love that bird pic!

Richard showed me this beauty, so naturally I had to buy it. lol

It will be the cornerstone of my old-label, slabbed, low-grade, silver-age romance collection. :acclaim:

Looks like Gene Colan art on the cover. If it is, Gene does a nice rendition of the Fab Four!!!

What percentage of these cons is devoted to vintage comics as opposed to all the other stuff?

Like Mike said, for Megacon, "vintage" (I am assuming Gold, Silver, Bronze

comics) is about 10% of the show. If you add in other comic merchandise

like Moderns, statues, T-shirts and all the comic artists with booths then as

an industry I would say comics represented about 50% of the show. Now the

reason for attending the show would be heavily skewed towards the anime

and manga crowd. It almost boiled down to if you weren't wearing a costume

then you were probably there for the comics. lol

And speaking of costumes, I am loading up the third and final video of random

crowd footage of Megacon on Saturday. Will post it next.

Okay, final installment on Megacon - the costume madness. I got an HD video

camera with my Staples Reward points and experimented with it a bit. This next

Youtube video you have the option of watching it in High-Def. Here a few stills

pulled from the video.

This Wonder Woman was probably the most photographed over the weekend.

Everyone wanted their picture taken with her.
