OtherEric
There are some actual Kolchak comics, but they're from the early 2000's
Popular Post sgcomiccollector
Picked this up some time ago, but finally managed to get a scan of this beautiful version of Conan #1. batmiesta
I must admit that I prefer the UK colours to the original, does it still have the poster attached? Randall Dowling, oakman29 and chevalmeow

This series changed its name with issue #3 to Monster Magazine. I’m a big fan of the Kolchak series which is why I’ve been hunting for this one. I think the scan of the copy I got seems muted over others. Hopefully it’s the scan since the sellers other books also look a bit “restrained” in colours. Also gives me an excuse to post these great “what if” books... The two Night Stalker and Night Strangler movies are already available on Blu Ray by Kino and look great. Come October this year Kino will be releasing Kolchak: Night Stalker complete series on Blu Ray with new 2k scans. Lol. We were all thinking the same thing - I’ve never seen those before. Here I thought I had too much time on my hands. Randall Dowling and oakman29 1
Jayman
Question for you guys that collect National Lampoon mags. Does anyone recognize this Frank Thorne art from any issues you might have? A friend of mine was a close friend and neighbor of Frank. Over the years he had gotten me some signed comics from him and was given some of his art. Apparently this painting was left to my friend and after inquiring with Frank Thorne’s rep, he was told this info from his rep: Frank’s paintings were copies of comic covers and panels. This was a panel from a national lampoon color page, a wwII page with topless women and their Japanese captors. He would like to know which issue it is from so any help would be appreciated! I would try contacting @Mark Simonson at http://www.marksverylarge.com/ if nobody here can give you an answer. They don't seem to have been on the boards beyond a couple of posts a few years ago, so I would go check their site for contact info.
