What "good" have you done??

You see..... taken out of context it looks wrong.

I was referring to the good I did in saving so much Doctor Who stuff, and then comparing the negative criticism there to the negative criticism I received on here - and straight away you took this comment out of context.

I'd like to thank the forum member (who shall remain anonymous)

who recently sold me the most incredible Disney comic I have ever

seen. I flew out to pick it up earlier this month and I am still in awe

over it. A nice copy of this book had always been my Holy Grail and

I now finally have what could well be the most beautiful copy in existence

thanks to this board member.

Perhaps the nicest thing about the experience was that this collector had

very little incentive to sell me the book. He contacted me after seeing the

scans I had posted because he thought that I would appreciate it even

more than he did. Although it was the largest transaction on a single

book I have ever been involved with, it went flawlessly - the seller is just

an incredibly nice person who truely cares about the hobby and helping

other collectors.

So, you-know-who-you-are, thanks for giving me the nicest experience

as a collector ever - I truely appreciate it!

After seeing your amazing early Mickey Mouse Magazines, I wonder what could be the most incredible Disney comic you have ever

seen. 893whatthe.gif

Hi Bonds, Arty,

I am putting together a nice page of some of my best books for my

next plea for upgrades and was thinking about showing off my new

treasure as part of that (along with a beautiful set of early Disney

file copies that I got last year - already posted a few of those a while

back). I was just offered more books from the file copy collection,

however, so - if that deal goes through - it could be a little while

before I post my next plea for help (it would get annoying if I posted

the same old books over and over). For now, I just wanted to use this

opportunity to thank the seller and share my positive experience with

another board member.

Thanks for your interest, though - it is great to hear that other people

appreciate these books too!

Most likely to change his username, again: that guy from Bristol CT

See... I was just gonna list all of them... but I didn't want people complaining about me stretching their screens. 893naughty-thumb.gifsmile.gif

Job well done 'house... thumbsup2.gif

Reminds me...I was going to nominate you (for really)... as... most fun poster of the year and ...most likely to have a hot chick working for him.... thumbsup2.gif

With all his stripper knowledge, maybe you should re-phrase the award to: Most Likely to Have a Hot Chick Working Him Over

(I'm gonna pay for that one blush.gif)

Admit it... you're secretly hoping for the day when you can accompany me to the club as a member of my posse... Patience, grasshopper... all in good time... sumo.gif

Looking for Buzzy #70. Will pay more than Ian Levine and less hassel too. Then I will tear it up and post the pics on the forum!

I thought it was spelt "hassle".

If you're gonna insult me, please at least attempt to be literate when you do so.

"Spelt"? Isn't that a fish? 893whatthe.gif893scratchchin-thumb.gif
