Micheal Keaton Batman and Pre-Robin Batman Statues coming out!

I was very excited to see that DC Direct has two really neat Batman statues coming out

When it comes to collecting I usually only buy comics and do not usually buy statues, etc. (even though I have quite a few from years past decorating my comic room) but these two statues capture two of my favorite Batman moments from the past!

You know the Micheal Keaton statue would go good with the Lynda Carter Statue and the Christopher Reeve statue.

The jaw looks very odd on the DC Chronicles statue.

The DC Chronicles Superman is disappointing as well. Looks like some sort of roid freak. The early Superman seemed more slender than this beefed up version. Plus his face looks like it's been mashed up a bit.

I see everyone's points about the Chronicles Batman! It is off - but I still like it and might grab one. I am just going to consider it artistic re-imagining.

 

Anyone collect those DC 1st App figures from a few years back. Those were dead on but where action figures. Got me a few........

 

 

 

I think the artist of the statues coming out was trying to make them look more real and lifelike then comic looking and that is why they seem odd.

 

 

I'm still gonna buy the Batman though!
