Harley and Ed Robertson are probably the two best on the list that I can Think of. Ed is local and has some really sweet books. I have been meaning to get back with him on one or two I was interested in he is a great guy to buy from. Ed is also a board member here and if you send him a list of wants I am sure he will do his best to fill it.

Harley well he's Harley, another great guy and dealer that goes to a lot of cons and has some super sweet books.

Tom Kalb, he's another local, his booth is typically small and he has some bronze and bargain type books. Every once in a while he will have some OA. He has a way of rubbing people to wrong way, but he is honest.

I am not too sure about some of the others, last year there were maybe a 1/2 dozen dealers with GA/SA/BA. A few more with the Hot moden books, trades. Some toys and the rest small time publishers and anime

Thanks for the kind words, Brian. Shoot me a call or email when you get a chance. (thumbs u

PM sent with contact information. I love filling want lists and have done so for past shows with a few Board members. I am a long time collector who started liquidating two years ago (but I am addicted to buying so I have added lots of new books and continue to do so weekly it seems). Please let me know what you are looking for in issue and grade if possible.

Atomic Comics has 4 stores, their main one in Mesa is probably the best.

Samurai Comics is a great store, the owner Mike Banks runs a great place.

Not sure on the addresses, but that's what Google is for. :) If All About Books & Comics is near where you are, they're a good store as well.

Have fun!

Here is the home site web address- http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/

From there, you can see schedule, exhibitors, etc.

The show was moved from Mesa (small venue) to the downtown convention center in anticipation of a much bigger show. Stan Lee is appearing on Sunday and Todd McFarlane Saturday (I think).

I hope some of you will give the new venue a chance and please email me any wantlists in advance if planning to attend. Also, please stop by either way to introduce yourself. :baiting:

I have met several Board members in the past 18 months (great people). (thumbs u

I have conducted business with several Board members at past Conventions in Phoenix, Yorba Linda and Long Beach but can provide more specifics if needed. I just picked up a local comic inventory of over 50,000 comics, mostly from late 1950s to late 1960s. Every genre, title, etc. you can imagine. These are mostly lower grade good to fine issues with lots of multiple copy issues.

I am in the process of trying to sort and price as much as possible to bring to the Phoenix ComicCon- please let me know if there is anything in particular you would like me to bring. You can email me at rrobert4_us@yahoo.com with any want lists also.

Most of lower number issues are the lowest grades- here are a few of the titles with deep runs starting below #10 but no #1s except X-men, Sgt Fury and the Gold Key titles but there are lots of keys in the runs:

ASM, DD, Avengers, X-men, Silver Surfer (all issues); Batman, Detective, Star Trek, Turok, all Army and Mystery titles, well over 400 Dell Giants, etc., etc.

Ed Robertson- cell is 602-741-9097 or email me your wants.

I will be gracing this con with my presence Thurs-Sat.

For those of you interested in attending I got a great deal by booking my flight and hotel together - Wyndham Phoenix Downtown, right next to the Convention center. The regular rooms were cheaper, but I got a King Suite for the same price as the Hyatt Regency Regular rooms.

Hope to meet some of you boardies I haven't met yet.

The problem is they haven't announced how many McFarlane sigs per person.

Everyone going is more than likely getting thier own books signed ,especially if it is like 2 per person.
