And they do appear to have precisely the same imperfection marks to make them as the same book, such as the color breaking stress line to the left of the '1' in the price circle. peewee22
Nice book. Is that a dust shadow on back on the left outside strip?
badback83
Seems like a good price. I just saw two 1.0 copies sold for 5040 and 5520. Seems like pretty strong results to me. comicdonna

A prime example of a book that presents well. KirbyJack and RetiredOldMan

If you are bidding then I would directly ask Comic Connect and get a closer picture if it is a concern to you.

I've never thought twice about picking up a book that had the pence price printed on it. Same original print run and more scarce 👍 RetiredOldMan

They sold the first few resto books really well and got huge money...till everyone realized they aren't much more than a reprint. The scans for these kinds of books are so convincing -- unless of course you want to say that they're unconvincing by being simply too good to be true. I can't even pick out color touch in most scans ... and whenever I look at a restored book with notes saying that whole pieces have been added, I struggle to see where the "seams" are. I would love to know (or better yet, see) what condition this apparent 9.8 would have been in before the restoration. Can anyone point me to photos or a video detailing the process? I'm so curious to see how this is done.
