Me too! This one's pretty beat up, but for less than the cost of a bottle of soda, I was stoked to get it!

Me, too, but the story is disappointing IIRC. It was the second issue I received with my subscription as an eight year old back in ‘67.

That is a nice 4.0! Out of any defect, I think I'd take moderate sun-shadow/dust-shadow the most. CGC knocks it harshly unfortunately, but as long as it isn't too terribly noticeable, it doesn't ruin the look of a book for me as much as a lot of creasing/missing pieces/etc.

A couple more 4.0 books to share. The pages are tanning on the Showcase and Fury has cover oxidation. Still very happy with them in spite of their flaws.

i have been having so much fun grabbing the late marvel #1's/premiere issues in grade [everything after d.d. 1 is on the table for me here].  still need the western ghost rider and iron man, the pricey one.

I'm glad that you are still enjoying your collecting, that's the whole point of it(for me anyway).

 

BTW, have you hunted for a cover yet, for that Straw-Man comic in your signature?
