I always insist on paying using G & S, even if I have to pay an extra 3%. Also, what I do is try to find out if the seller has a brick and mortar store. If the seller does have a store, I either call or email the owner. I usually ask for 13% off, as that is the cost of Ebay fees for the seller.

I don't think I am out of line. MyComicShop lists books on Ebay and lists the same books on their website. Usually, the price on their website is lower than their Ebay price. I have "watched" many of their books, and it is not unusual to see a statement saying, "This listing is closed, as the item is no longer available."
