Well, not so much a bet as a slight difference of opinions. Any views welcomed.

based on the front only, i'd guess that the absence of any noticeable defects other than the rounded lrc, would put this in the 9.4 area

if you're asking the grade, I think it's either a 9.0 or 9.2. tough to see from that scan.

Right, I've got the full picture in now. Is that the only problem ? Can I make it look clearer somehow ? Scan is about 1.2meg, so there's a little room to play with, but I don't know how best to clear it up. What a twerp.

Based on the front cover alone and what wear I can see, I'd say a 9.2. If there are any spine creases (which I can't see but that I would expect to be there on a book with that kind of edge wear), I'd say 9.0 max.

the scan is a little better now... I'd still say 9.0 to 9.2 looks like the right range. corners on the right hand side look slightly rounded... not a huge deal. If I'm being conservative without seeing the book in person, I'd say 9.0. But the book looks very nice though, so that might be low.
