The only reason ASM 1 is anywhere close to AF15 is because of that stupid number "1" on the cover, and to a lesser extent, because it's the first Fantastic Four crossover and the first appearance of J. Jonah Jameson...it has less to do with it being a second appearance.

not to hijack this thread but i have another question that relates

 

what about cameo appearances ? or first full appearances for instance

 

amazing spiderman 361 first full appearance of carnage

amazing spiderman 360 first appearance of carnage

 

ive read both these books and well 360 has 1 panel of carnage's face and you can barely see anything. 361 however has carnage's full fight with spidey and his origin

 

now that being said if the 361 didnt have the origin would it be worth less?

 

will first glimpses ever have any value

Well HULK #181 is technaically the 2nd appearance of Wolverine so Its worth more than #180 which is actuall Wolvies 1st appearance lol

 

My "first appearance" was well before Wolvie's . . . :grin:
