Journey Into Mystery #83 CGC 1.0 *SOLD*

22 posts in this topic

Hey gang. Here is a very attractive and yet affordable copy of one of my favorite books. The book sports a very clean blue back ground, oww pages and nice eye appeal for the grade. The book is graded a CGC 1.0 incomplete due to a Coupon missing from the 7th page (affects story). Additional notes read : 2 pieces of tape on cover, Piece re-attached with tape on centerfold. Book is slightly brighter in hand than scan suggests. Asking $600 shipped (firm) for this book.

Coupon cut outs are hardly killers for low grade collectors ;) They're what make books like this more affordable for the common man

Too bad this common man just bought an Avengers 1 and Hulk 1 over the past week (not that I'm complaining mind you).

Good to see some affordable low grade keys out here! Really nice presentable low grade to be sure!

Nice 1.0 Roy! :headbang:

You don't mention the added staple. Any idea what it's doing there? (shrug)

holding up a wall.

Tom,

It looks like they added 2 staples. You can see both on the back cover scan. The bottom one is just to the left of "BEGIN" on the front cover.

Did CGC miss that, or just run out of room on the label? lol

I didn't mention the staples because they are clearly visible in both the front and rear scans.

I don't know why they weren't mentioned on the label. I bought the book slabbed.
