Batman #1 reprints

3 posts in this topic

Occasionally I see copies of an exact reprint of BATMAN #1 from the 1960's floating around.

It isn't that oversized Treasury one from the early 1970's with the outer cover removed.

It's an actual size reprint of #1.

Does anyone know anything about this reprint?

Where can I find information on all BATMAN #1 reprints in comic book form, such as the MIllenium Edition?

Mike's Amazing Wortld of DC Comics and the OPG don't have a record of this book from the 1960's.

As far as I know, the closest thing to an exact reprint is the one that came with the Batman Masterpiece Edition. I'm not aware of any from the 1960's, but there might be one. If Alan Light did a "Flashback" reprint of it in the early 1970's the interior would be black & white.
