I agree. As much as I love the New Warriors, I will be the first to talk about how corny they were overall. Once Bagley left and Robertson took over, then it went downhill for me. But I love that early fight with Terrax, and the exploration of the Dark Force.

Actually, Bagley leaving any title is reason enough for me to start buying it again. I had to suffer through his mediocrity on many an issue of ASM

Go get the current Nova series. Namorita and Darkhawk have both been featured prominently. The Realm Of Kings arc was a lot like a New Warriors story to be honest.

Not yet I'm afraid. Most of the time since Namorita's return Nova's been in one battle after another first with two versions of the Sphinx and then immediately after with beings from the Cancerverse that is spreading to the MU.

I had a few issues of their 1st series (die-cut covers!).

 

How could you go wrong when your team leader wears armored ninja suits red/black and can thrash on a skateboard? =100% cool.
