I know we recommended Weird Science and Fantasy, but it occurs to me that some of the best EC sci-fi is in the title that replaced both of them - Weird Science Fantasy (renamed Incredible Science Fiction from #30).

 

In particular, the adaptations of Ray Bradbury stories like 'A sound of Thunder' (in #25) and especially 'The Flying Machine' (in #23) are great - the latter is one of my favourite comic book stories.
