MEET ROBERT M. OVERSTREET AND GET YOUR EXCLUSIVE OVERSTREET #40 GUIDE AT SAN DIEGO! only $125.00!!!!!!

All $$$ goes to Hero Initiative!

spend some quality time with a few other collectors, sitting around a table, talking with Mr. Overstreet, in a spiffy-swell suite, drinks, snacks, AND get autographs, folks!

FIRST FOUR PEOPLE TO PM ME GET T0 DO THIS!!!!!

Because the folks at Gemstone publishing are so swell, they’re created an EXCLUSIVE 40th anniversary edition of the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide just for the Hero Initiative! Only 500 of these puppies are available, with GREAT exclusive Conan art by John Romita Jr., Klaus Janson, and Dean White!

And YOU can get one of these exclusive copies for free, AND meet Bob Overstreet along with colorist Dean White at San Diego Comic-Con at Hero Initiative’s spiffy-swell hotel suite!

Mr. Overstreet very rarely makes any appearances, this is a rare chance to ask questions that you may have had rolling around your head about the OSPG for years! Such as how did it all start! How did he deal with fandom when he first started! How does this master of pricing keep it all in his head! What's his favorite kind of comics! What does he think about graded comics! And anything else you can think of!

The event will take place at San Diego Comic-Con on THURSDAY, JULY 22 at 4:30 PM! There are only FOUR of these berths available! Each of four lucky folks will be escorted to the suite by duly authorized Hero Initiative personnel, where they’ll meet Bob and Dean! Drinks and snacks will be served, and you’ll get your special limited edition Overstreet #40, which you can get autographed on the spot by Dean White and Bob Overstreet! Also, bring a couple of older price guides, Mr. Overstreet will be happy to sign a copy you own as well!

Please note that admittance is for ONE person ONLY!

Here’s the five Ws.

WHO: Robert M. Overstreet is the world’s foremost authority on comic book pricing, and has been publishing the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide for 40 years! The Grand Daddy of comic book pricing!!!

Dean White is one of comics’ top colorists, and his work has been seen for over 10 years in titles such as Amazing Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Panther and more!

WHAT: A meet-and-greet appearance with Overstreet and White. Only five people will be allowed into the suite, and you’ll get a special Hero Initiative limited edition Overstreet #40 (cover price $35), AND the chance to get it autographed, and some quality time with some great guys! And Sierra Mist! And cheese cubes!

WHY: Because these folks are all jolly good fellas, and they believe in and support The Hero Initiative!

WHERE: The appearance will take place in conjunction with Comic-Con International in San Diego. You must be present at the convention and report to the Hero Initiative booth (#5003) if you’re a winner.

WHEN: THURSDAY, JULY 22 at 4:30 PM

IF YOU ARE ONE OF THE FOUR LUCKY FOLKS TO DONATE…

• Please come to the Hero Initiative booth (#5003) at Comic-Con International in San Diego promptly at 4:00 PM. Bring your photo ID to claim your berth. You will be escorted to the suite by Hero Initiative!

FAQ:

Q: Will Dean and Bob sign anything else?

A: Sure. You can bring up to five of your OWN items per person as well.

Q: Whoo-wee! How much ya think I can scalp my ticket for?

A: Big donut. Winner’s names will be recorded, and they must be redeemed by the winner. Berths are non-transferable, and any tickets transferred are immediately null and void, and will not be honored. Fairly warned be thee.

Q: Is this tax deductible?

A: Yes, to the extent allowed by law. The Hero Initiative is a non-profit organization recognized by the federal government under section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue code.

Q: Okay, what’s that mean?

A: We cannot legally give tax advice. According to IRS regulations, we cannot determine the value of this donation. That is between you and your accountant. According to the IRS, the amount of deduction is based on the price that a "willing buyer" will pay for your item. We will happily issue a donation receipt, and will specify when your donation was made and what was paid.

This auction is a benefit for The Hero Initiative, the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping comic book creators in need. Hero creates a financial safety net for yesterdays' creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and entrée back into paying work.

It's not just me, it's the Hero Initiative and the fine folks at CGC (for giving us these boards) as well as people like Stan & Bob who donate their time.
