I wish Bill Bixby could play Banner... :cry:

 

He was Bruce Banner. No one has come even close to doing it as well as he did.

 

Actually, he was David Banner... lol

 

But, you're right. He was great in that role.

OK, the TV producers screwed that with his alter-ego's name, but it still worked.

 

Maybe Thor doesn't need a helmet afterall. hm

He didn't leave enough of a hinge on the other side. Also, his notch is too steep.

 

BTW, Bill Bixby was the best.

I agree, but Hulk must SMASH properly.

 

Movie 1:

pick up tank and throw it far away

Smash the ground and cause cars to pile up and fall away as the ground breaks

 

Movie 2:

Hulk use metal shield and throw it at sonic cannon

Hulk smash car to make boxing gloves to fight Abom

Choke Abomination with a chain?

ALL of that was rockin'. I pity the people who were too numb to appreciate those great action sequences in the Hulk films. :cloud9:

As long as someone can pull of the "scientist geek" character they'll do fine. Bana wasn't a good banner. Norton and Bixby were.

 

I think Ruffalo might be able to pull it off.

Ummm you forgot in Movie 2:

 

Do the giant slap both hands together like symbols to cause a gust of wind and shockwave.

 

And

 

Slam the Ground while saying "HULK SMASH" to cause a fissure in the ground to trap Abomination.

 

Those are two classic Hulk Comic powers that were perfectly translated into the second film.

Well it took Batman 4 times. doh!

 

I thought Keaton did a real good job as far as Burton's version was concerned.

 

This guy seems like a good choice to play the hulk, and the best part is he would probably keep the role for a long time as he's not on the top of the food chain so to speak... thumbs up from me.. if it turns out to be true...

I think he helped make "Zodiac" a good movie.

 

Yes!, I always recommend "Zodiac" as an awesome movie and people don't know what I'm talking about. I think Mark fits better as Bruce Banner than Edward Norton.

"Zodiac" is one of my favorite Blu Ray demos for friends who visit. :grin:

 

I don't know why it's out of print now, since it might be now considered the "first" Avengers movie since Robert Downey Jr. was in it and they go after a costumed bad guy too. :insane:

The second movie was by far superior, but that sequence where Hulk grabbed the tank's turret gun, spun it around and flung it, was quintessential Hulk. :sumo:
