I am slowly working through my comic book collection.

 

all of these comics are bagged and boarded. earlier comic books are in the 6-7 range and newer comic books(such as ones from 2000 and newer) are in the 7-9 range. many of the earlier books are actually much better than 6-7 but I would rather undershoot the quality than say they are actually better than they really are.

 

I haven't ever read any of these comic books, but I can't be certain if they were read before I bought them. books from around 1998 and newer are almost 100% not read as I bought all of those when they were first released, ones older than that may have been bought from back issue boxes so I do not know the exact history of them.

 

Shipping:

 

on orders of $50 or more I will not charge for shipping(unless you want them shipped overnight.)

 

orders under $50 will be charged $15 for shipping and packaging.

 

I will begin shipping these at the beginning of next week(monday).

 

I will be using the cheapest possible shipping from UPS. books that fill short boxes/long boxes will be shipped in the appropriate size box, and if your order isn't big enough to fill one it will go in another cardboard box that fits the size. I will be using bubble wrap and packing paper where it's needed and I will do my best to assure your books will not shift while in transit.

 

if you have any requests for different shipping anything can be worked out between us.

A little history...

 

I am an avid comic book collector, been in the Baton Rouge area for almost 20 years now. I've worked in comic book shops ever since high school. I love Marvel comic books, read them religiously. I picked up my first comic book back in 1978 and have been hooked ever since. I moved to Baton Rouge for college, doing computer work and working in comic book shops all at the same time. when I finished college I stuck around working part time doing computer work and part time in a local comic shop.

 

earlier this year I fell on hard times, job market is saturated in the computer field and I've had to start taking retail work. I am now looking to sell my house and hopefully move out of the country soon. I need some extra money and I also can't bring that many comic books with me so I am going through my extensive collection and cataloging what I have and what I am willing to sell. I will be posting more books once more of these sell.

also, I have never dealt with anyone here as far as I know. I found this website while searching the internet for a good place to sell other than eBay as I do not trust them and their practices and rules and their history of having bad security.
