The link seems to be a pretty accurate history in an interesting way to tell it.

 

Good grief, what a convoluted post-BA history! One of my favorite characters got no respect!

Hey, lay off of the King of the Sea...the Bronze age Aquaman -- with that wonderful Jim Aparo art -- was kinda cool.

 

FAMILY GUY seems to really enjoy make fun of Arthur Curry's alias at least once every season.

 

Agree Aquaman by Jim aparo was amazing

Nonsense. Namor was so dumb that he didn't realize that WWII was the concern of surface dwellers only. Atlanteans didn't need to be involved. But Namor so completely devoted himself to fighting Nazis and Japs that when the war ended he was left purposeless. And so his stories were cancelled. Aquaman meanwhile survived merrily through the post war years and ended up with a continuing publication history of around thirty years.
