Watched the episode last night. I really enjoyed it and felt it was one of the first episodes where you really got to see Michonne and she actually spoke! Hopefully her character grows from here.

I actually wasn't to into this episode. It wasn't bad, but just felt like a bunch of filler to me.

Thought there was going to be a shoot out this week. Was really looking forward to it.

I didn't look at it as filler I looked at it as a wake up call to Rick. Seeing how far gone Morgan was will probably/hopefully wake Rick up into being the leader he is capable of. I really think that was the point of this episode and to get more ammo and weapons for the prison so they aren't so easily over powered by Andrea's Boyfriend.

Do suburbs not exist in this world?

Why is it just made up of the capital city and a bunch of farms/small towns?

And why is it only rednecks/southern folk that survived? I feel like hardly any of the surviving cast could actually afford the modern vehicles they are driving now

Country Boys can survive :gossip:

Maybe there will be an episode later where some zombie needs his taxes done or wants to invest some money in the stock market. :insane:

The preacher man says it’s the end of time

And the Mississippi River she’s a goin’ dry

Interest is up and the Stock Markets down

And you only get mugged

If you go down town

I live back in the woods, you see

A woman and the kids, and the dogs and me

I got a shotgun, rifle and a 4-wheel drive

And a country boy can survive

Country folks can survive

I can plow a field all day long

I can catch catfish from dusk till dawn

We make our own whiskey and our own smoke too

Ain’t too many things these ole boys can’t do

We grow good ole tomatoes and homemade wine

And a country boy can survive

Country folks can survive

Because you can’t starve us out

And you cant makes us run

Cuz we're them old boys raised on shotgun

And we say grace and we say Ma’am

And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn

We came from the West Virginia coalmines

And the Rocky Mountains and the and the western skies

And we can skin a buck; we can run a trot line

And a country boy can survive

Country folks can survive

I had a good friend in New York City

He never called me by my name, just hillbilly

My grandpa taught me how to live off the land

And his taught him to be a businessman

He used to send me pictures of the Broadway nights

And I’d send him some homemade wine

But he was killed by a man with a switchblade knife

For 43 dollars my friend lost his life

Id love to spit some beechnut in that dudes eyes

And shoot him with my old 45

Cause a country boy can survive

Country folks can survive

Cause you can’t starve us out and you can’t make us run

Cuz we're them old boys raised on shotgun

And we say grace and we say Ma’am

And if you ain’t into that we don’t give a damn

We’re from North California and south Alabam

And little towns all around this land

And we can skin a buck; we can run a trot-line

And a country boy can survive

Country folks can survive

We can, but some of us prefer not to have to. Besides, we all know the zombie apocalypse is the fault of Yankees. But, if push comes to shove, I could probably make it out there for a while and I've never been a big hunter.

When is the season finale? In that Kirkman interview he said we were approaching the finale. I thought we just started!

There were 8 remaining episodes when it returned. So 4 episodes left until it's gone until probably next October if it continues with it's current schedule.

Transplant would be the one singing. I would be the one skinning the buck and catching catfish.

It's good to set up the prison roles ahead of time, so there's no confusion.

Keep Trannypants barefoot, and singing, in the kitchen.

Yes there should be all sorts of suburbs and gated communities everywhere. (shrug)

As far as the "rednecks/southern" folks go; I'd say that the majority of people to survive would be the "rural" or "small town" folks who normally dont depend on other people (govt/city services) and probably have guns. City and suburban people would more than likely be gone first, no electricity or water and mass panic would set in, a bunch of sheep just waiting to be slaughtered, they'd start turning on each other.

The odds would be stacked against people who live in the city. Once disaster struck their source of food would dry up and there would be zombies everywhere. In the country there would be a lot less zombies, a lot more guns and food, and more space to avoid the zombies

I am glad they scrapped the idea of having all the black characters on the show wear red Starfleet Security shirts.
