Which carrier do you use to ship comics?

10 posts in this topic

From experience, which carrier(s) do you use to ship your comics to CGC?

I am looking to ship some comics for grading, etc and debating on who is quickest, and takes best care of packages.. I am worrying too much about price and cost over possible lose of value for careless shipping.

You should use USPS registered mail for very valuable books and the highest level of USPS service. It can be slower than Priority but it's worth it.

For less valuable books I am comfortable using Priority Mail well packed and insured.

+4 Rarely ever a problem using them. I think I've had two incidents over the many years I've used USPS to ship anything.

+5 same here, only one or two problems over the years. Filing insurance claims is a pain though and can be a hassle.
