What a cool idea, having the local bum pose in front of the shop as well. Very brave of you,weren't you scared he would run off with the book ? Then again he doesn't look very fit... :whistle:

Not my photo, since I didn't have a camera, but here's one of the many Manga stores in Kyoto (which is also home to the Manga Museum):

Does the sign say "Please put a leash on your hedgehog when you enter the store" ?

Thought it would be a good idea to start a thread posting pictures of comic shops from around the world.

 

Here are 3 shops I visited while in Amsterdam

 

 

...I was at that one in Amsterdam too,...I think I was,....the whole week is kind of fuzzy,...this is me on Christmas Eve,...I went to Amsterdam to celebrate passing my Phamacy Tech boards,...it seemed fitting,....

...actually the ganja was two stores down,...my hotel was on the same block,...it was tough somedays to get past this point,...cept for the day I took the tour at the Heineken plant,...and there were some museums about a guy who cut off his ear and some house that a chick named Anne lived in and stuff, but I did't pay much attetion to that,..

It may as well have. Being unable to read the signs or package labels, communicate with the people, or understand any of the media, along with the extreme jet lag, was a totally disorienting experience.
