Inflated Signature Series Auctions

235 posts in this topic

I just discovered CGC SS in 2007. I have been collecting since I was 13years old.

At 16, I started attending comic book conventions. I have over 45,000 signed comics

and I own my own comic store which is ran by two great employees Alex & Joe. Also, I am a gym teacher.

EBay is ran by Alex, my employee. I hope this solves some of your issues. At every convention, we get about 700 signed comics. We get multiple copies signed. Please see my video on myspace. It will give people an idea on how we work. I am planning to sell all of my comics so I can get 800 cgc signature series by Stan Lee and John Ramita before they retire. So far I have 300 Stan Lee cgc.

I contacted Ebay about your remarks telling people to buy my items and leave negative feedback. I gave Ebay the link to this CGC chat board. They have it on file and if anything happens, you or any of your followers will be kicked off eBay. They also said they will remove any negative feedback that may occur from you or anyone else who is involved. Grow up and act your age. You need to go to the gym to get your anger out!

301 with the stolen book. What's your store's address so I can pick it up or send someone to get it? You know a guy named Hammer from the island by chance?

So why is this in understandable English but the PM you just sent me (included below) is broken and barely understandable???

They are both from you as both claim to be the boss with two people that work for you so why one minute do you say...

"I started attending comic book conventions. I have over 45,000 signed comics

and I own my own comic store which is ran by two great employees Alex & Joe. Also, I am a gym teacher."

and then say (in practically another language)

"Am not the one who gets the CGC SS for my costumer see my myspace

I have 2 good friend that do the work for me. I recommend them to my costumer.

And If you now anyone who charges lest, let me now? So I spread the love."

Does no one want to ask him about his raw signatures? Ok, I'll do it.

Your raw Stan signatures that you're selling look quite a bit different than most of the ones that are slabbed. For example, most of the books that are not slabbed that are "signed by Stan" tend to curve downward as you get toward then end and the last name tends to get smaller and smaller.

Compare it to the graded sigs

The price also throws me. Why offer graded Stan sigs at such high prices and then let the raw ones go for so much less? It's very suspicious.

Adam, PLEASE forward this to information to eBay in a report on on his auctions. I think if you explain how this is causing MANY people to be duped into buying forged items, it will help prevent a few people from getting scammed.

Crooks like this make me ill. Fakes reported accordingly.

That's Pirate up in front.

He wears his eyepatch on the other side so it's hard to tell it's him.

I am sure you are super tight with Ebay, they must love you. Anyone dumb enough to list books for thousands and thousands more than they are worth so that they will never sell is like the golden goose to them. Keep paying those listing fees for a few more years you will get a gold watch and a picture of Ebay employee's children graduating college along with a thank you note for making it all possible.

You are the gift that keeps on giving.

Blackstar/Emilio,

Any comments/rebuttals regarding the issue of the raw sigs brought up by several people here? As mentioned, there are a few sigs that look legit. Herb Trimpe, for example. I have little doubt that those are real but by the same token, they're easy to get and free most of the time. However, premium sigs like Stan Lee or Todd McFarlane, there are many instances where your non-graded signatures look a little off. What's your take?
