I just wondered if anybody has seen this amazing book yet. 700 pages thick.

 

I understand that people were queueing up to see it at the New York Comic Con.

 

I think it looks amazing, and has to be the all-time ultimate book on the subject.

I just looked for you, and amazon uk have it for 75% of it's normal retail price.

I just heard from Amazon.com on Thursday that my book was shipping, so I'll be enjoying it very soon. Final price was only $31.50 with free shipping. :cloud9:

 

 

Is that a typo? I don't see it for less than $100 anywhere?

It is amazing beyond belief.

I have my advance copy.

That's why I wondered if any of you have ever seen it.

 

The difference being that stuff like the Gerber Books had very basic reproductions of the covers, like the ones DC themselves use for their archive editions.

 

Whereas this book captures the very texture of the covers and the inside pages.

 

In 75 years, no book like this has ever existed before. Amazing.

I didn't write the book, it was Paul Levitz.

 

I allowed them to photograph my comics, but why should my ego be involved. It's not MY book, just one I'm very excited about.

Ordered mine on July 20th but still no sign of it being shipped.

Current price on Amazon.co.uk is £101.49, I paid £96 including free delivery to Belgium (which can't be cheap seeing the weight of the thing).

Let's hope it gets sent out soon.
